This section is customizable; you can edit every aspect to fulfill your expectations. Here is a brief description of what you can do with GridCP.
This section allows you to modify the general aspect of the board.
Host
Your Domain. You can modify it at any moment.
License
This section allows you to add a license. Note: GridCP can be installed without a license. This will carry some limitations. You can add a license at any time.
Name WebSite
The website name you want to show to users.
Default tables entries
It shows how many elements (VPS, Nodes) will appear by page.
E-mail from
This is the email that users will receive. But, of course, you can modify it at any moment.
Time zone
You can choose the time zone for the panel.
E-mail admin
The mail where you will receive notifications. You can modify it at any moment.
Traffic accounting
It can be counted monthly or on the enrollment day.
Alert percentage of traffic consumed
You can select the first alert of traffic consumed, which is low. After that, there are two more notifications medium and high percentage alerts.
Lock Email modifications
With this option, users cannot modify their email addresses.
Maximum additional users for VPS
It is a customize option according to your necessities. You can add as many additional users per VPS as need it.
Refreshing time resource
It can be modified according to your necessities. In the control panel, you can visualize the used resources by the VPS, and they will update on time.
Proxmox verbose
The password is visible in the logs. If this option is enabled, the passwords are visible in the logs. (we recommend having this option disable)
Purge cron log
Set up the deleting time for log. With this option, you can automatically delete the cron logs in the field selected.
Purge node error log
Set up the deleting time for errors in the log. With this option, you can automatically delete the wrong logs in the field selected.
Purge backups deleted VPS
Set up the deleting days for backups. This option can delete the VPS backups after the days you selected in the field.
Generate inform
This option helps you to generate an inform about today’s day and send it to the admin email.
Statistics storage time for VPS
You can select how many years you want to store your statistics.
Smokeping On/OFF
Generate files with the information to create statistics smokeping.
Allows you to alter the aspect of the IPs.
Allow the user to choose subnet
If this option is enabled, the user can choose at anytime a subnet between the available. When this option is disabled, you’ll get assigned a subnet automatically.
Blacklists checking enabled
When it is enabled, it will automatically scan all the IPs to review on a blacklist.
Block traffic from IPs with the tag blacklisted
If this option is enabled, all the IPs marked as blacklisted will have the traffic block.
IPs to check every 5 minutes
If the previous setting is enabled, “blacklist checking” will automatically check all the IPs marked in this field.
How many hours do you check the IPs in blacklist
When the setting “blacklist checking” is enabled all the IPs marked as a blacklist will be analyzed again after the time set in this field.
Alerts send before suspend
It will send a notification to the user before a definitive suspension of the IP.
Listings of blocked IPs
This option will run a list with all the domains to check if the IPs are on a blacklist. Each URL must be in a different line.
To check if an IP is on any blacklist, press on “check IP blacklist.”
If the option “send mail” is enabled, we will send the user owner of the IP an email indicating that the IP is on a blacklist.
If you want to check all the IPs on the blacklist at the time, you can do so by clicking on the button “show all the blacklisted IPs.”
RIPE allows the registration and management of your IP resources. Any person or organization can become a member of RIPE NCC.
When RIPE is enabled, it will show new functions on the dashboard. To manage network inetnums on the panel, IPs, subnets. Additionally allows the user to create RIPE objects. The panel automatically will generate inetnums when a change on an IP is made; for example, an IP is assigned to a VPS.
RIPE on/off
This is a function that will allow you to enable or disable the RIPE functions. When this option is enabled, it will display more options for the IP addresses.
RIPE country
Default country related to RIPE. This information is for registration purposes.
RIPE password
This is a password to connect with RIPE.
Default RIPE nick
Create a nickname that will be used by default with RIPE.
Limit of RIPE objects
This option will create a limitation on the item that a user can develop.
RIPE test
If the option is enabled, it will activate the test mode. Once we are in production, this setting must be enabled.
It is the querying technique of the Domain Name System (DNS) to determine the domain name associated with an IP address.
To enable this option on the panel, you must have the service and link it to the database of GridCP with the information below. Once you enable this option, the panel will have new options to assign IP to a DNS Reverse.
DNS REVERSE ON
This setting will enable or disable the RIPE functions. When this option is enabled, more extended choices will display for the IP addresses.
NS1
Reverse DNS principal server.
NS2
Secondary server for reverse DNS
TTL
A lifetime of data in a computer or network. Once the timespan has elapsed, data is discarded.
Mail
This is the associate email for DNS.
DNS REVERSE DB
It is the name of the database of the reverse DNS server.
DNS REVERSE host
This is the host where your reverse DNS server is.
DNS REVERSE user
The user that makes the connections to the reverse DNS database.
DNS REVERSE pass
A password that makes the connection with the reverse DNS database.
Solus virtual manager is a VPS management system. If you have a SolusVM system and want to synchronize with the IP(free/used) of SolusVM with GridCP, you have to configure this option to enable the sync. Each time an IP is assigned to a VPS on SolusVM, it will assign the tag ” Solus Reserved” IP.
SolusVM on/off
Enable and disable the connection with SolusVM.
SolusVM log
It generates logs with synchronization with SolusVM.
SolusVM host
Host where SolusVM system is connected.
SolusVM DT
Name of the database of SolusVM.
SolusVM user
A user that logs in to the database of SolusVM.
SolusVM password
The password to login into the database of SolusVM.
The “connection test” button allows you to verify if you have a connection with SolusVM. Note that you must save all the modifications you made.
The following setting allows you to configure different aspects of the security of GridCP.
User session check on
Enables the checking session for the users.
User session check type
This setting allows the checking session method of the user. There are three additional verifications: IP address, User-agent, and set up both.
IP address: this will check during the session that there are no changes by the user IP.
User-agent: this will check that during the session, there are no changes on the user agent.
Admin session check on
Enable the checking of admin sessions.
Admin session check type
Allows you to choose the session checking method of the user; there are three types: IP address, User-agent, and set up both.
Describe above in User check type.
reCAPTCHA on/off
Enables the use of reCAPTCHA.
reCAPTCHA is a system that allows web hosts to distinguish between human and automated access to websites.
reCAPTCHA website key
This field allows you to indicate the website key from reCAPTCHA.
reCAPTCHA private key
In this setting, you must indicate the private key from reCAPTCHA
reCAPTCHA ATTEMPT
It will display the attempts of logins to activate reCAPTCHA.
reCAPTCHA blocking time
It refers to the time a user is going to be blocked after failing the reCAPTCHA.
Security attempts IP blocking
This setting refers to how many failed attempts the user has before blocking the IP.
Security IP blocking time
It will indicate the time that an IP will be blocked if the reCAPTCHA fails.
Password strength
It refers to the password’s strength, between 0 and 10, where 0 is the most insecure and ten the strongest.
Test password
This setting helps you to check the strength of your password.
With the button “list of block IP,” you can see all the blocked IP addresses, the blocking day. However, you have the option to unlock those IP addresses.
Allows you to configure the method to send an email from GridCP.
Mail method
This option will indicate the sending method. There are two different types PHP or SMTP.
SMTP host
You must enter the server SMTP address.
SMTP port
In this setting, you must indicate the SMTP server port.
SMTP user
It’s referred to when a user has to make a connection with the SMTP server.
SMTP password
This is the password required to perform a connection with the SMTP server.
SMPT HTML
This will allow you to enable the HTML content in the emails sent by SMTP.
Email encryptation
Allows you to choose the encryption type to send the emails. There are three types: none witch doesn’t use any encryption. SSL is a cryptographic protocol that uses explicit connections to establish secure communication between web server and client. And TSL is also a cryptographic protocol that provides secure communication between the web server and client via implicit connections.
You have email templates available. Furthermore, you have different template formats.
You can select from a variety of templates available in English and Spanish. Also, you can modify the variables.
Also, you can locate a Test mail where is going to let you know if the mail function is running.
Massive emailing
This section allows you to send emails to multiple users. To select the users which you want to send the mails, select the type of object between Node, VPS, Float group, Node group, and IPv4. Once you select the type, it will load a different object that you can select from the dropdown window; on this dropdown window, you can select many objects, For example, if you select two nodes an email will be sent to each users per each VPS that has on each node.
In services, you have to configure the service noVNC for the correct performance of this option on the VPS.
To install the noVNC service, you must open the server’s console and insert the command provided.
Once you finalize the installation of the service, a window will appear with the user and password. Enter this information on the service tab.
After the installation is completed, the information status should change automatically to”installed” and “service running.”
You can manage the server noVNC; this server is responsible for allowing access for noVNC to VPS.

Name of the host.
Server noVNC user
The username provided by the service.
Server noVNC password
Password provided by the service.
Service status
Shows the status of the service.
Once you install the service noVNC to add security SSL, you can install a certificate. For example, this certificate would install automatically filling the form:
Note: the certificate is valid for 90 days, but the service will automatically renew.
Allows you to configure a series of personalized links.
FTP LINK
Links that appear on each VPS backup screen offer the user more space to stock user backups.
IP LINK
Link to enroll for one or many IPs.
